Genito High School

Midlothian, Virginia


Owner: Chesterfield County Public Schools

Completion: Spring 2010

Square Footage: 268,000
The 2-story school will hold 1,750 students and consists of a gymnasium, auditorium, state of the art laboratories, high-tech media center, exterior learning spaces, and extensive playing fields.
 

Contract Value: $60,000,000.00

 

 

Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation

Burkeville, Virginia


Owner: Department of Mental Health
Developer: Gilbane Development Company

Start Phase: November 2006
First Phase Completion (100 Beds): January 2008
Second Phase Completion (200 Beds): July 2008

Square Footage: 174,000
There are 22 acres of site development. Project will use precast cell modules and will hold 300 beds upon completion. Site will also include a kitchen facility that will serve VCBR and the Piedmont Geriatric Facility.
 
Contract Value: $40,400,000.00  


Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation


 

The Westin Hotel @ Reynolds Crossing

Richmond, Virginia

To Be Completed: July 2008

Square Footage: 167,401
Occupancy Information: 7 stories, 256 rooms

This site is part of a large development project by Reynolds Development and will include additional office buildings and restaurants. The hotel will be built with deluxe amenities and accommodations consistent with the Westin brand. The all-suite hotel will also include a full kitchen, public and private dining areas, bar, indoor pool and spa, Westin workout center, large conference/meeting areas, luxurious lobby with granite columns, stained architectural woodwork, and tile flooring.

The structure is steel with hollow core concrete planks utilizing the Girder Slab system, with an EIFS exterior and masonry, granite, and aluminum composite accents.
 
Contract Value: $24,700,000.00  


The Westin Hotel


 

Dinwiddie Elementary School

Dinwiddie, Virginia


Owner: Dinwiddie County Public Schools

To Be Completed: September 2007

Square Footage: 83,000
Occupancy Information: one-story, 500 student capacity, expandable to 750 students
This one story elementary school includes play fields, an access road to site, parking lot, and bus loop final grading. It features a combination steel frame and masonry construction, brick exterior, steel joist and metal deck roof construction, cold formed steel trusses, and low slope membrane and metal roofing.

Dinwiddie High School

Dinwiddie, Virginia

To Be Completed: July 2008

Square Footage: 228,000
Occupancy Information: 2 stories, 1,600 student capacity
Two-story high school includes classrooms, food service facilities, a two-court gymnasium, auxiliary gym, bleacher seating, auditorium, tennis courts, play fields, and elevators. Site development included excavation and fill, water distribution, sanitary sewerage, lawns and grasses. Construction includes a brick veneer and concrete block exterior, single ply roof coverings, and metal roof/wall panels.
 
Contract Value: $40,000,000.00  


Dinwiddie High School


 

Center Pointe Middle School

Midlothian, Virginia

Start Date: August 2006
To Be Completed: April 2008

Square Footage: 180,000
Occupancy Information: 1,200 student capacity
54 acre campus featuring gym, auditorium, cafeteria, and athletic complex. Construction included demolition, site clearing and grading, erosion and sedimentation control, water distribution, and sanitary sewerage. Structure’s frame is structural steel, CMU and brick with exterior wall louvers and vents.
 
Contract Value: $28,600,000.00  

 

 

Farmville Municipal Building

Farmville, Virginia


Owner: Town of Farmville

Start Date: November 2005
To Be Completed: June 2007

Square Footage: 31,000
Occupancy Information:
Three story municipal building.  The ground floor contains the police department with all of the town offices being located on the second floor.  The third floor of the complex houses the Town’s emergency 911 center as well as the town council chambers.  The project included an outdoor courtyard for use by town patrons.     
 

Contract Value: $5,969,000.00  



 

Riverside Regional Jail

Hopewell, Virginia


Owner: Riverside Regional Jail Authority

 Start Date: May 2006
To Be Completed: November 2008 (Pre-Release), December 2008 (Maintenance)

 Square Footage: 44,000 (Pre-Release), 6,000 (Maintenance)
Occupancy Information: 180 beds (Pre-Release)
Pre-Release Center consists of construction, expansion, and renovation of existing facility. New construction is one-story precast concrete/masonry construction with an unprotected steel frame.

Maintenance building consists of complete construction of one-story, pre-engineered structure with insulated precast and metal panel walls.
